WHI Partners to Stop Trafficking at World Cup

World Hope International plans to do its part in helping fight human trafficking in the city slated to host the world’s biggest sporting event.
This month, South Africa will host the 2010 FIFA [Soccer] World Cup. Hundreds of thousands of soccer enthusiasts will converge on the southernmost country on the continent, making this year the first that an African nation will host the event.

Wesleyan Medical Fellowship, an auxiliary of The Wesleyan Church, will hold its annual convention June 16-19, at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. The theme of the convention is “Medical Missions—Past, Present and Future,” and is based on Matthew 9:35: "Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness."
